Origins of a rain drop…

My eyes look far away
From the stretch of the road at lay
To the splatter of each drop
Upon my dew laden window top

As each drop splatters
Springing out new patterns
I could see beyond the conquest
A beautiful sync manifest

Origins of each drop
My mind wonders for a while
As I go up the hilltop
Driving the extra mile

Looking around the blossoms
And the blooms of the autumn prism
Feeling the pleasures of the scents
Of fresh green grass on the ascents

I feel the gentle land
Of each drop on my hand
As I slightly drive aside
Along the lone stretch of ride

The impulse urge
The sudden purge
To step out then
Else I wouldn’t know when…

And when I did…
I graced my arms in greed…
To embrace the charms

That each drop carried
For a million years
I knew, a zillion tears
It must have helped recede…

The origin of each drop
I looked upon my cartop…
I looked upon the hilltop…

And then with a soft open of the lids
I looked upon the clouds that hid
I couldn’t see the drops that fell
Nor the doves that flew…

But I could see
A rainbow far away
And the feel of lovebirds
Near the river bay…

For that moment
I knew…

The origins of each rain drop
Aren’t the oceans
Nor the clouds
Aren’t the lands
Nor the mountains

But the fountain
That never ceases…

Of the inner heart…
Of the inner soul…
