15th March

The metro packed with people unknown, yet much closer they stand unaware of the bond they share.. and as i take a seat, the soul of the metro... It unfolds before my very eyes... Soft music of the violin surrounds the cabin as a man plays so effortlessly with a fiddle of gold... I notice a small boy across me with his new found toy, he looks at it with so much amazement - that I would want to be back in my childhood... A toy phone it was for he spoke on it with an imaginary friend... The smile he now has is rather priceless and I feel a little envy of his friend indeed...
Beside him a man in suit, all proper and prim for his day at work... With a serious glance at his phone throughout... I wondered for a minute how he could forget ... that once he was the same small boy ... He just had to see on his left but a turn of such never was to occur..
On my right a lady rushing... Quickly through her morning makeup, just in time to start the day.. of facades and masks ... I heard myself make a gentle wish ... hoping we aren't the masks we wear all the time...

Loved it ! When we were small, we all wish to grow up, only to find that nobody warned us - not to make the wish in the first place
"be careful what you wish for..."

Your writing reminds me of Mitch Albom's books. Impeccable!
